Financial Literacy That Actually Makes Sense

Most programs throw jargon at you and call it education. We skip the fluff and teach practical money management you can use right away.

Real-World Financial Skills for Everyday People

Look, we're not here to turn you into a stock market guru or teach you how to flip houses. This program focuses on the basics that somehow nobody teaches properly – budgeting without feeling restricted, understanding where your money actually goes, and planning ahead without needing a finance degree.

The sessions run for twelve weeks starting September 2025. Each week builds on the previous one, but we don't assume you know anything coming in. Whether you're starting your first real job or finally want to understand your super, this works.

  • Weekly 90-minute sessions with real scenarios
  • Small groups capped at fifteen participants
  • Practical worksheets and templates you'll actually use
  • Access to recorded sessions if life gets busy
  • Individual check-ins at weeks four and eight
Financial planning materials and worksheets spread across a desk

What You'll Actually Learn

01

Money Tracking Basics

Where is it going? Sounds simple, but most people have no idea. We'll show you tracking methods that take less than five minutes daily.

02

Building Workable Budgets

Not the restrictive kind that makes you miserable. We focus on flexible systems that adapt when unexpected expenses hit.

03

Debt Without Drama

Credit cards, personal loans, HECS – understanding interest rates and payment strategies without the shame spiral.

04

Emergency Funds

How much do you really need? Depends on your situation. We'll calculate realistic targets and ways to get there gradually.

05

Superannuation Basics

Your super will likely be your biggest asset. Learn what actually matters and what's just noise from marketers.

06

Setting goals that make sense for your life stage. Not everyone needs to buy property or have six months expenses saved by thirty.
